I am fascinated by people’s stories. I like looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary.

I like observing things.  I write poetic prose which is visual and visceral. I paint pictures with words.

I try to capture spirit of place as much as it captures me. My writing often smells musky and loamy.

I am interested in palimpsests. I write about the present and the past, and the places in-between.

​

I like writing with a pen in a notebook. Nearly all my words are written by hand.
